Brand, Research & Experience Design Intern

Job Description

Hamamys is a bath brand inspired by the Turkish bath tradition. We approach bathing like a culture driven bath lab: studying rituals, tools, formulas, protocols, and sensory experience, then turning them into modern products, content, and clear brand systems for bath geeks who care.

You will work with the founder on research, visual references, moodboards, storytelling, website content, product and packaging presentation, launch preparation, and the use of LLMs and GenAI tools in the design process. Depending on your strengths, the role may focus more on research, visual design, content, or digital experience.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both cultural research and creative execution, and who is excited by the opportunity to help shape an emerging international brand from the inside. Outstanding interns may be considered for future longer-term opportunities after the 5-month internship, depending on performance and company needs.

Required Skills

Design Skills

Strong visual sense in layout, typography, composition, and image selection. Ability to turn research and references into clear visual outputs such as moodboards, presentations, content directions, and brand assets.

Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools. Strong interest in using LLMs and GenAI tools as active design tools for research, writing, ideation, image generation, and creative production.

We value self-initiative, good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a small, fast-moving team.

Education

Recently graduated from a program related to communication design, graphic design, brand design, experience design, product design, or a related creative field.

Work Experience

Internship, academic, freelance, or personal project experience in branding, visual design, content creation, digital design, or related creative work is welcome. A strong portfolio, curiosity, and self-initiative are valued more than extensive formal experience.

Language Proficiency

Good working proficiency in English is required, especially for research, written communication, and day-to-day collaboration.
